Topics & Content Ideas

~3 min read · Last updated March 2026

The Topics and Ideas & Hooks tabs live inside Creator Intelligence (Advanced plan). Together they answer two questions: What should I post about? and How should I open it?

Topics Tab — What Your Audience Loves

The Topics tab groups all your posts into theme clusters based on the content of your captions and visuals. Instead of scrolling through individual posts, you see your content organised by the topics it covers.

How to Read Your Topic Clusters

Topic Cluster Name

e.g. "Product Demos", "Behind the Scenes", "Motivation". Assigned by the AI based on your actual post content.

Average Engagement Rate

Each cluster shows the average engagement rate across all posts in that topic. Higher = your audience responds to this type of content.

Trend Direction

Shows if a topic's performance is growing, stable, or declining over time. A declining topic needs a format refresh even if it was strong before.

How to Act on Topics Data

Ideas & Hooks Tab — Your Content Calendar Fuel

The Ideas & Hooks tab takes your top-performing topics and turns them into ready-to-use post concepts. Everything here is generated based on your account data — not generic advice.

What You'll See Per Idea

Content Concept

A specific post idea tailored to your best-performing topic clusters. Not generic — built from your own engagement patterns.

Hook

The opening line of your caption or first 2 seconds of your Reel. The most attention-critical part of any post. Copy it directly or use it as a starting point.

Suggested Format

Reel, Carousel, or Feed post — the AI picks whatever format historically works best for that content type on your specific account.

Practical Workflow

1

Open Creator Intelligence → Ideas & Hooks at the start of your content planning week.

2

Pick 3–5 ideas that feel right for your brand this week.

3

Copy the hook for each idea and use it as the opening of your caption or Reel script.

4

Go to Schedule and create your posts — use the AI Assistant in the scheduler to generate a full caption from the hook.

5

Schedule them out across the week and let Instagrow post automatically.

💡 Tip: Insights are updated in real time as your account data changes. The more posts you have, the more personalised and accurate the ideas become.
