1. Overview
InstaGrow complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Meta Platforms, Inc. Developer Policies regarding data deletion. We believe you should have complete control over your data.
If you wish to delete your account, remove the connection to your Instagram/Facebook account, or request the deletion of all your personal data, please follow the instructions below.
2. How to Delete Your Account and Data within InstaGrow
You can automatically delete your entire account and all associated data directly from the InstaGrow Dashboard:
- Log in to your InstaGrow account at instagrowapp.com/signin.html.
- Click on your Profile Icon in the top right corner.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
- Click the Delete Account button.
- Confirm your choice. This action is irreversible and will immediately schedule your data for deletion within 30 days.
3. How to Remove InstaGrow via Facebook Settings
If you prefer to revoke InstaGrow's access to your Instagram/Facebook account directly through Meta, you can do so by removing the app in your Facebook settings. This will send a request to us to delete your Facebook/Instagram data:
- Go to your Facebook account's Settings & Privacy menu. Click Settings.
- Scroll down to the Permissions section and click on Apps and Websites.
- Search for InstaGrow in the list of active apps.
- Click Remove next to the InstaGrow app.
- Check the box to delete posts, videos, or events InstaGrow posted on your timeline (if applicable).
- Click the Remove button to confirm.
Once removed, Facebook will notify us, and we will delete your Instagram/Facebook data from our servers.
4. How to Submit a Data Deletion Request via Email
If you cannot access your account or prefer to contact us directly, you can request the deletion of your data by emailing our support team:
- Send an email to: clashhub.online@gmail.com
- Subject line: Data Deletion Request
- Body: Please include the email address associated with your InstaGrow account and your Instagram handle so we can identify and securely delete your data.
We will process your request and send a confirmation email once your data has been deleted. Please allow up to 30 days for the complete removal of your data from our systems.
5. What Happens When Your Data is Deleted?
When you delete your account or submit a data deletion request, the following actions occur:
- Your personal information (name, email) is permanently removed from our active database.
- All cached Instagram data, including metrics, posts, and comments, are permanently erased.
- Your Instagram Access Tokens are immediately invalidated and deleted.
- Your billing subscription (if active) will be cancelled immediately.
- Data in our routine server backups will be overwritten and permanently destroyed within 30 days.
Please note that we may retain certain limited records (such as billing receipts) for up to 7 years to comply with legal and financial regulations, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
