What Is AI Best Time to Post?

Instagrow's AI Best Time to Post feature analyses your connected Instagram account's historical engagement data to predict the exact time slots when your audience is most active and most likely to interact with new content.

Instead of relying on generic "post at 6pm on Wednesdays" advice that applies to the average account, Instagrow uses your own audience's behaviour to make personalised recommendations.

What Factors Does It Analyse?

Historical engagement patterns — Likes, comments, and saves timestamped across your last 90 days of posts.
Follower online activity — When your specific followers are browsing Instagram (derived from engagement timing data).
Content type — Optimal times differ between Reels, feed posts, and carousels for your account.
Day of week trends — Weekday vs weekend performance patterns unique to your niche and audience.

How to Use It

When creating a scheduled post, click Use Best Time in the date/time picker. Instagrow will automatically fill in the recommended date and time for your next post.
You can also view your top recommended time slots for the week from the Schedule tab's calendar view.
The recommendation updates automatically as your account grows and your audience behaviour changes.

💡 Tip: AI Best Time to Post is most accurate after you have at least 15–20 posts worth of engagement data. For brand-new accounts, it will fall back to niche-based averages until your account builds its own history.
